Fire Safety Fundraiser
The Humboldt Association of Realtors® Affiliates Committee is organizing their first Fire Safety Fundraiser. We are requesting your support as a monetary sponsor or by physical contributions of Smoke / Carbon Monoxide detectors.
The committee will be working in conjunction with the Fortuna Fire Department to install 250 Smoke / Carbon Monoxide detectors into mobile homes starting in the Fortuna, California area. The recipient of this year’s Fire Safety Fundraiser is the Royal Crest Mobile Home Park. Following the completion of the Fortuna project, the committee plans to work their way North through mobile home communities within Humboldt County.
The mission for the Fire Safety Fundraiser is to aid the community in preparations for California fire season. Mobile home parks are at a particularly high-risk during fire season due to the proximity of residences to each other. Their goal is to provide new Smoke / Carbon Monoxide detectors to every mobile home in Humboldt County that needs one.
One hundred percent of the proceeds of this fundraiser will be put towards the purchase of Smoke / Carbon Monoxide detectors and the necessary installation supplies. Join us in our effort to prepare and protect our community members against deadly fires.
